The Rockets' support of the Santa Fe High School community reached another level Saturday.
The Houston Chronicle reported the team will donate $100,000 to the Houston-area school's Santa Fe Strong Memorial Fund, collected from admissions to the team's watch party at Toyota Center for Game 6 of the Western Conference finals (10,000 fans paying $10 apiece).
A gunman killed 10 people and wounded 13 others at the school on May 18. The Rockets honored victims, survivors and first responders in an emotional pregame ceremony prior to Game 5 of the series.
