MLS franchise, Orlando City Soccer Club are interested in securing the services of Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández. The player’s agent has been involved in initial conversations with the sporting director at the MLS club and are initially impressed with financial aspects of a possible move to Florida for the Mexican player. Chicharito’s representative, Eduardo Hernández, will now travel to Orlando to sit down with members of the Orlando City board to see if they can pave the way for an agreement.
There is a big question mark still hanging over the Mexican forward’s immediate future. After spending the season on loan at Real Madrid, the Mexican, who incidentally fractured his collarbone last night playing for Mexico, will have to return to Manchester United, his club if no move is secured.
Dutch coach, Louis Van Gaal has made it clear that the Mexican forward plays no role in his future plans at Old Trafford and this declaration has sparked interest from the likes of: Liverpool, Wolfsburg, AC Milán, Lazio and West Ham.
